Complete urban transformer substation (pass-through) type KTPG 25-1600/6 (10)-0.4U1 - single-transformer is designed for receiving, converting and distributing three-phase alternating current electric power of industrial frequency 50 Hz with voltage of 6 (10) kV into electric power of voltage 0.4 kV.

Single (two) transformer complete urban substations of type (2) KTPG-HL1 pass-through type with a capacity from 25 to 1600 kVA are single (two) transformer substations of outdoor installation and are used to receive three-phase alternating current electricity with a frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6 (10) kV, converting it into electricity with a voltage of 0.4 kV and supplying it to consumers.

Depending on the purpose and the magnitude of the primary and secondary voltages, step-down transformer substations are divided into district, main step-down and local (workshop). District transformer substations receive electric power directly from high-voltage transmission lines and transmit it to main step-down transformer substations, and those (having reduced the voltage to 6, 10 or 35 kV) - to local and shop substations, where the final stage of transformation is carried out (with a reduction in voltage to 690, 400 or 230 V) and the distribution of electric power between consumers.

Production of KTPG

Transformer substations are usually manufactured in factories and delivered to the installation site fully assembled or in separate units. Such transformer substations are called complete or KTP.

According to the type of execution, complete transformer substations (CTS) are divided into:

• in a concrete building
• in sandwich panels
• in a metal case

By type of substation maintenance:

• with a corridor
• without corridor

By type of RUVN:

• dead ends
• walk-through
