KTP

Complete transformer substations (KTP) are installations that receive voltage of 6–10 kV and transform it to the consumer level (400 V) with subsequent distribution over the household network. They are installed in the following zones:

  • residential . This includes settlements (including cottage, summer cottage and urban-type settlements), microdistricts, cities and villages;
  • industrial . These include production areas, factories, workshops, quarries, mines, etc.

The substation body is made of metal with an anti-corrosion coating. The safety of the KTP is ensured by lightning protection, fire extinguishing and grounding systems. The basic substation has compartments for a dry transformer with cast insulation (TLS), a high-voltage switchgear (RUVN) and a low-voltage switchgear (RUNN).

Requirements for the placement of transformer substations

The location for the complete substation is chosen so that it is located as close as possible to the load center. This allows reducing the cost of consumables (wires, cables, etc.) and energy losses. According to the location, KTPs are divided into four main types:

  • freestanding.  This is the least economical option;
  • attached.  KTP are adjacent to the building from the outside;
  • built-in.  Located inside the building.

In order to minimize losses, industrial networks with a voltage of 6–10 kV are recommended to be equipped with the equipment of the last two categories. For multi-span production facilities, the best option is the intra-shop type of complete transformer substations. They are usually mounted near columns or in areas inaccessible for crane operation.

KTP production

Environmental safety . The substation is equipped with TLS transformers with air cooling. There is no risk of technical oil leakage and environmental pollution.

Fire safety . Transformer insulation is made of non-flammable dielectric that does not support or spread combustion. Therefore, such substations can be located near residential buildings.

Reliability . KTP from Kaz Electro Snab can withstand seismic impacts of up to 9 points on the MSK-64 scale. All types of products are certified and comply with ISO 9001:2008 and GOST 14695-80.

Economy . KTPs have an increased service life, due to which they require less maintenance. This allows reducing personnel costs. An additional factor of savings is the reasonable prices of our equipment.

Resistance to adverse factors . KTPs retain their operational characteristics at temperatures from -60 to +50  ° C and humidity of 80–95% (at +25  ° C). Substations withstand significant wind loads – up to 146 Pa with ice and up to 800 Pa without it.

Variety of designs . We sell transformer substations of the following types: kiosk (KTPK), insulated (KTPNU), mast (KTPM), pole (STP), indoor installation (KTPSN). It is also possible to manufacture non-standard KTP options according to customer requirements.
